I want to sign up for the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run. Where do I register?

Simply click the link at the top of any page of our website, right below the title. This link will take you to our RaceRoster registration website where you can choose which race you would like to run and how many people to sign up. Online registration closes on December 5, 2019 at 11:59 p.m.

Do you offer discounts for team/ group registration?

No. There is no discount available for groups who are registering.

Do you offer Military, Fire, or Police discounts for the Bridge Run?

No. Prices are as advertised on our registration website.

Is there a limited number of runners allowed at Savannah Bridge Run?

We cap our race at 6,000 participants. We recommend to register early to secure your place, especially for the Double Pump because it is limited to 1,000 participants.

If I run the Double Pump do I receive all three medals?

No, each participant will receive one medal specific to the race that they run in. For example: A Double Pump participant will receive a Double Pump medal.

Race Change / Refund Questions

I registered for the Savannah Bridge Run but now can't participate. Can I receive a refund?

Sorry but unfortunately, we can’t issue refunds for Savannah Bridge Run. If you can’t make it to the run you can still pickup your packet and Bridge Run t-shirt.

I purchased registration insurance, how do I redeem for a refund?

To get a refund, you will need to contact Ticket Guardian at (844) 849-4827. You should have received an email from Ticket Guardian when you registered that contains your policy number, which you will need when redeeming your refund.

I registered but now I can't participate, can I transfer my registration to someone else?

Yes, you can transfer your entry to another person by visiting the transfer link https://raceroster.com/events/2019/20668/enmarket-savannah-bridge-run/new-transfer-request and self-editing your profile. Please note that online transfers will not be accepted after Wednesday, November 27. After that date, all transfers MUST be done at the expo on Friday, December 6,

I want to change to a different race from what I originally registered for. How do I change that?

Packet-Pickup Questions

When and where can you pick-up your race number and timing chip?

At the Expo on December 6, 2019 at the Savannah Civic Center from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Can someone else pickup my race packet for me?

Yes, they are allowed to pick up your packet for you. We request that you bring a copy of the confirmation email to help our volunteers.

What do I need to bring with me to pick up my packet?

What is included with my Savannah Bridge Run Registration?

Participants receive a custom Savannah Bridge Run t-shirt, race program, and race bib. Each participant will receive an email invitation to our Virtual Race Bag. Finishers of each of the races will receive an exclusive finisher medal.

Race Questions

Is the event timed?

Savannah Bridge Run uses Event-Tech for all timing needs. Using Event-Tech’s ChampionChip, runners are given precise accuracy of their time. Runners and walkers will be able to view their results on Event-Tech’s website after the race at http://event-tech.com/results/.

Are walkers are welcome at Savannah Bridge Run?

Of course, walkers are welcome at the Savannah Bridge Run! We do ask that walkers please start in the “Walkers” zone at the start line.

Are strollers allowed at Savannah Bridge Run?

Yes strollers are welcome. We just ask that you please start at the back of the field for everyone’s safety. For the 5K, walking strollers are allowed, but must be in the “Walking” lane at the start line. Jogging strollers will be allowed at both the 5K and the 10K.

Are dogs allowed at Savannah Bridge Run?

No dogs are allowed at Savannah Bridge Run.

Is there an age limit?

Our age groups range from 9 and Under to 80 and Older. Anyone age 5 or older MUST be registered in the race if they are on the course.

What roads will be closed/impacted during the race?

Times vary for closures, for more information, please read our Pace Chart, Road Closures and Bridge Closure sheets.

Can I bring my iPod?

Yes, the Savannah Bridge Run currently allows you to use iPods.

Is smoking allowed at the Bridge Run?

No, smoking is not allowed at any location during the Bridge Run. This includes the start lines of both the 5K and 10K, the finish line, trolley transportation and the Post-Race Party area.

How can you get back to Hutchison Island after the 5K?

The event provides free trolley and water ferry transportation back to Hutchison Island starting at 9:30am until noon, with pickup taking place behind the stage in Franklin Square. What happens in the case of inclement weather?

Weather

The race will be held rain or shine. If there is lightning in the area, the race will either have a delayed start (maximum 30 minute delay) or, depending on the intensity of the weather, be cancelled. The determination will be made by the Event Management staff and local law enforcement to determine the proper action. Legally, the race cannot take place while lightening is in the area for liability reasons.

As a reminder, the registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Lightning Policy

Event operations will shut down when lightning is 10 miles out from the event areas. Event operations will not resume until the lightning is 10 miles out moving away from the event areas. Event Management staff will determine this using the Flash to Bang Rule* and weather radar. The Event Management staff and local law enforcement will decide on a course of action to utilize the operational rain plan, delay the event, or cancel the event. Any action will not take place till race morning.

*Flash to Bang Rule* is applied by measuring the time (in seconds) between a visual lightning “Flash” and hearing the resulting “Bang”. This time is then divided by a factor of “5” to obtain distance in miles. For example, 50 seconds between “Flash” and “Bang” divided by “5” equals 10 miles.

Is there space for family members to watch the race?

Yes, spectators are welcome to watch the race near the finish line at the Savannah Civic Center.
