2021 Registration

I want to sign up for the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run. Where do I register?


Simply click the link at the top of any page of our website, right below the title. This link will take you to our RaceRoster registration website where you can chose which race you would like to run and how many people to sign up. Online registration closes on December 1, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.




Do you offer discounts for team/group registration?


The Corporate Challenge offers a group discount, click here (link to Corporate Challenge page) to learn more. For other group and team discounts please contact us at savbridgerun@visitsavanah.com.




Do you offer Military, Fire, or Police discounts for the bridge run?


For unit/squad/department discounts please contact us at savbridgerun@visitsavanah.com. Military units and first responder groups are also eligible for our Corporate Challenge (link to Corporate Challenge page).




Is there a limited amount of runners allowed at Savannah Bridge Run?


We cap our race at 6,000 participants. We recommend to register early to secure your place, especially for the Double Pump because it is limited to 1,000 participants.




If I run the Double Pump do I receive all 3 medals?


If additional medals are available after the race, they can be purchased here.





Race Change/Refund

I registered for the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run but now I can't participate. Can I receive a refund?


Sorry but unfortunately we cannot issue refunds for the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run. If you can’t make it to the run, you can still pick up your packet and shirt, or have it mailed to you.




I purchased registration insurance, who do I contact to process a claim?


All questions regarding registration insurance must go through Ticket Guardian. Contact Ticket Guardian at (844) 849-4827. You should have received an email from Ticket Guardian when you registered that contains your policy number, which you will need when processing a claim.




I registered but now I cannot participate. Can I transfer my registration to someone else?


Yes, you can transfer your entry to another person by visiting the transfer link https://raceroster.com/events/2019/20668/enmarket-savannah-bridge-run/new-transfer-request. Please note that online transfers will not be accepted after Wednesday, November 27, 2020. After that day, all transfers must be done at the expo on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.




I want to change to a different race than the one I originally registered for. How do I change that?


Yes, you can transfer your entry to another race by clicking here. Please note that online transfers will not be accepted after Wednesday, December 1, 2021. After this date, all transfers must be done at the expo on Friday, December 3, 2021.

Is there a charity partner for the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run?


Yes, the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run donates money to multiple charities involved with the event, but our official charity for the race is Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer Research Pavilion at St. Joseph's / Candler. For a list of our charities and how to donate yourself, please click here.

Race

Are walkers allowed at the Savannah Bridge Run?


Of course, walkers are welcome at the Savannah Bridge Run! We do ask that the walkers please start in the "Walkers zone" at the start time.




Are strollers allowed at the Savannah Bridge Run?


Yes strollers are welcome. We just ask that you please start at the back of the field for everyone's safety. For the 5k, walking strollers are allowed, but must be in the "walking" lane at the start line. Jogging strollers will be allowed at both the 5k and 10k.




Are dogs allowed at the Savannah Bridge Run?


No dogs are not allowed at the Savannah Bridge Run.




Is there an age limit?


Our age groups range from Under 9 to 80 and over. Any one at the age of 5 or older must be registered in the race if they are on the course.




Can I bring my personal music player or phone with me on the course?


Yes, the Savannah Bridge Run currently allows the use of personal music players.




Is smoking allowed at the Bridge Run?


No. Smoking is not allowed at any location during the Bridge Run. This includes the start lines of both the 5k and 10k, the finish line, trolly transportation and the Post-Race area.




How can I get back to Hutchinson Island after the 5k?


The event provides free trolley and water ferry transportation back to Hutchinson Island starting at 9:30 am until noon, with pickup taking place behind the stage in Franklin Square. Look for the green shuttle flag. A full breakdown of our transportation plan is on our website at the Parking & Transportation page of our website.




Where do I park for the race?


There are an abundance of parking garages around the city that are a convenient walk from the finish line area. There is also on street parking available around the city. For more information on race day parking options, go to RACE DAY PARKING.




Is the event timed?


Yes. The Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run is timed using DELMO Sports and MyLaps timing. Using MyLaps, runners are given precise accuracy of their time. Runners and walkers will be able to view their results on our results page of the website.




What happens in the case of inclement weather?


Weather The race will be held rain or shine. If there is lightning in the area, the race will either have a delayed start (30 minutes maximum delay time) or, depending on the intensity of the weather, be cancelled. The determination will be made by the Event Management staff and local law enforcement to determine the proper action. Legally, the race cannot take place while lightning is in the area for liability reasons. As a reminder, the registration fees are non-refundable or transferrable. Lightning Policy Event operations will shut down when lightning is located within 10 miles of the event area. Event operations will not resume until lightning is 10 miles out moving away from the event area. Event management staff will determine this using the Flash to Bang Rule* and weather radar. The Event management staff and local law enforcement will decide on course of action to utilize the operational rain plan, delay the event, or cancel the event. Any action will not take place until race morning. *Flash to Bang Rule* is applied by measuring the time (in seconds) between a visual lightning "Flash" and hearing the resulting "Bang". This time is then divided by a factor of 5 to obtain the distance in miles. For example, 50 seconds between the "flash" and "bang" divided by "5" equals 10 miles.




Is there space for family members to watch the race?


Yes, spectators are welcome to watch the race near the finish line at the Savannah Civic Center.

Packet Pick-Up

When and where do I pick up my race bib and timing chip?


You can pick up your packet at the Health and Wellness Expo at the Savannah Civic Center on December 3, 2021 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. The address is listed below: Savannah Civic Center

Can someone else pick up my race packet for me?


Yes, they are allowed to pick up the packet for you. We ask that you bring a copy of the confirmation email to help our volunteers.




What do I need to bring with me to pick up my packet?


You will need a copy of your confirmation email. You can get this by clicking here.




What is included in my Savannah Bridge Run Registration?


Participants receive a custom Savannah Bridge Run t-shirt, race bib, and access to our event Virtual Race Bag. Each participant will receive an email invitation to the Virtual Race Bag. Finishers of each of the races will receive an exclusive finisher medal. Additionally there is a variety of complimentary post-race refreshments including two Michelob Ultra's for those 21 and older.




Is there race day packet pick up?


Yes! 5K and Double Pump packet pick up will take place Saturday from 6:30-7:45 a.m. in the grass median in advance of the start line. Look for the large white tent. For the 10K, packet pick up will be Saturday from 6:30-8:45 a.m. at the Savannah Civic Center.





2020 Race FAQ

When is the 2020 Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run?


We are unable to host the in-person 2020 Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run scheduled for December 5, 2020 and instead will move to a virtual format.




Do I still get my medal, bib and participant gift for the virtual 2020 race?


We will mail out medals, bibs and participant gifts after December 5, 2020.
